Surgical First Assistant and Scrub Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical First Assistant and Scrub Nurse Leader to join our team at Nursing Medical Recruitment. As a key member of the operating theatre team, you will provide expert scrub assistance during complex surgeries and support the surgical team in achieving the best possible outcomes for patients.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the sterile field, assisting surgeons during procedures, and providing skilled assistance as a Surgical First Assistant. Your experience working in a range of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopaedics, ENT, Plastics, Gynaecology, and Urology, will be invaluable in this role.
About You:
To succeed in this position, you will need a strong background in theatre nursing, a proven track record of leadership, and excellent communication skills. Your ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during stressful situations will be essential.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
