IPC Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Network and Data Sales department, you will be responsible for soliciting assigned prospects and clients, converting inbound web leads, and establishing a vendor network to attain quota selling IPC's Electronic trading portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of technical sales experience, with a strong understanding of computer networking technology and industry trends, especially in Electronic Trading and Market Data. They will also possess excellent grammar, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to develop a professional rapport with clients.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue goals, customer contract negotiations, and understanding and articulating the company's value proposition through a consultative sales approach. They will also be required to maintain knowledge on current technologies and services relevant to IPC and the overall technology managed services industry.

Additional responsibilities include recommending and attending relevant industry technology and networking events, attending meetings with qualified prospects at client locations, and timely completion of required paperwork and reports.

The successful candidate will have a degree-level education, with proven academic success, and experience working for a Network, Systems Integration, Computer Hardware/Software Reseller or Managed Services Provider. They will also have excellent organizational skills, experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and processes, and experience in selling technology or technology services.
