We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced economist to join our team as a Lecturer in Economics. As a member of our Institute of Management Studies, you will have the opportunity to teach, conduct research, and engage with students from diverse backgrounds.

About the Job

The successful candidate will teach economics modules across the spectrum, including micro- and macroeconomics, international economics, econometrics, and quantitative approaches to economics. They will also contribute to departmental administration, student supervision, and external activities.

About You

To be considered, applicants should have a good first degree and a PhD (or equivalent) in economics or a related field. Preference will be given to those who have completed their PhD, but consideration will also be given to those who are about to submit or have submitted their thesis.

**Our Benefits**

We offer a generous package, including a salary of approximately £42,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 28 days' annual leave, 6 paid closure days, a defined benefit pension scheme, and support for professional development.
