We are seeking a highly motivated PhD researcher to join our vibrant community at City, University of London. As an Academic Researcher in Economics, you will be working closely with esteemed academics and professionals to explore the intersection of professional practice and public policy.

With a strong foundation in economics, sociology, or a related field, you will embark on original research that has the potential to generate significant impact on the world of economic policy-making.

The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree in a relevant subject or provide equivalent qualifications or professional experience demonstrating their preparedness for PhD study. A good Second-Class Honours degree is also required.

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum will be offered, commensurate with experience. The studentships are available for UK permanent residents from ethnic minority backgrounds, with one dedicated to a Black British candidate.
