About the Opportunity
Oxford Economics is seeking an experienced Economic Analyst Leader to lead our cities team in shaping research on city and regional economies. This role involves overseeing thematic research, leading research projects, and collaborating with other teams to provide powerful solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in economics, geography, or a related discipline, and at least 10 years of experience in urban economics.

Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and coordinating topical and thematic research on city and regional economies, producing research reports and reaction insights, ensuring market-leading city forecast methods and research, and supporting efforts to build Oxford Economics' external brand in the field of city analytics. They will also present analysis and findings to clients and media, plan and structure projects, and coordinate contributions from junior team members.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience working in urban economics or a closely related discipline. They will be rigorous, adaptable, and creative in seeking solutions to difficult economic questions, with strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting analysis and findings to a range of clients and media. They will also have high-level proficiency in project and client management, experience in training and developing junior staff, and the ability to problem solve and produce innovative analysis.
