Teaching Assistant for PMLD Pupils

Teaching Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who require additional support due to their profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD).
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils, helping them engage with tailored learning activities and assisting with personal care routines.
As part of our team, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and care plans, supporting the physical, social, and emotional development of pupils.
To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience working with children or adults with PMLD, SEN, or complex needs, as well as the willingness to assist with personal care and medical needs.
Job Requirements:- Experience working with pupils with PMLD, SEN, or complex needs
- Ability to provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils
- Knowledge of individual education plans (IEPs) and care plans
- Skills in supporting the physical, social, and emotional development of pupils
- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
