Company Overview

We are seeking Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants to join our team on a supply basis in Hertfordshire. Our client schools cater to students aged 3-19 with various special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

Job Summary

This is a supply teaching assistant role working within SEN Schools in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will support students with special educational needs, providing individualized support and resources under the supervision of teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Senior Learning Support Assistants and Teachers to prepare resources meeting individual learning objectives.
  • Provide 1:1 support for skills-based learning under teacher supervision.
  • Offer personal care and physical interventions when required for students with disabilities.
  • Maintain a safe learning environment adhering to Safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
  • A genuine desire to work with children within the education sector.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range is £85-£95 per day. We offer free child protection training to all registered candidates.
