About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Opiate Recovery Worker to join our multidisciplinary team at Turning Point. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments, treatment, and psychosocial interventions to clients with substance use disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support clients in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Work collaboratively with a range of partners, including clinicians, recovery workers, and peer mentors, to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, offering advice, information, and psycho-social interventions as needed.
  • Conduct risk management planning and work closely with clinical staff around prescribing needs and partner agencies.
Requirements
  • Substantial knowledge and/or experience of working with individuals with substance use disorders.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work dynamically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work across different sites and adapt to changing client needs.
