About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, treatment, and psychosocial interventions to clients with substance use disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support clients in achieving their recovery goals
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, recovery workers, and peer mentors to provide comprehensive care
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, offering advice, information, and support to promote recovery and well-being
  • Conduct risk management planning and work closely with clinical staff to address prescribing needs and partner with other agencies as necessary

Requirements:

  • Substantial knowledge and/or experience of working with individuals with substance use disorders
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work dynamically and adapt to changing situations
  • Flexibility to work across different sites and with a range of clients
  • Commitment to Turning Point's values and mission
