About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Opiate Recovery Worker to join our multidisciplinary team in the Herefordshire Recovery Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to overcome addiction and achieve a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments, treatment, and psychosocial interventions to drug and alcohol users
  • Work closely with a range of partners in criminal justice, housing, and health and social care
  • Manage a caseload of clients across the county, requiring flexibility and adaptability
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing advice, information, and support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Substantial knowledge and/or experience of working with young people and individuals with substance misuse issues
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to Turning Point's values and a passion for supporting individuals in recovery
