About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Recovery Specialist to join our team at Turning Point. As a Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals aged 11-24 who are struggling with substance use issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments, treatment, and psychosocial interventions to clients
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of service improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Substantial knowledge and/or experience of working with young people and substance use issues
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work dynamically and flexibly in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of relapse prevention and other skills to promote recovery
  • Commitment to the values and mission of Turning Point
