About the Role

We're seeking a passionate leader to join our Restaurants department as a Restaurant Venue Manager on a fixed-term maternity cover until 1st November 2025.

As a Venue Manager, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences to our guests by nurturing, training, and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment.

You'll drive standards and lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brand standards and Butlin's way of working.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, you'll enjoy the buzz of a busy environment and drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.

You'll have the ability to drive consistent brand standards while being guest-obsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do.

The role will also involve analysing KPIs and stock control systems to maximise gross profit margins and adhering to food safety and health & safety policies.

You should have a real passion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that truly delight our guests.

You should be an advocate for your team's fulfilment at work, ensuring that you're having regular 121s and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin's.

About You

We're looking for an individual with prior experience in a food & beverage environment, with strong experience of being guest and customer-facing and dealing with a range of queries and sometimes complaints directly.

You should be passionate about leading and developing a team and supporting people through regular 121s and coaching.

Delivering an amazing experience to our guests is the most important part of this role, so you should be passionate about every interaction and seek opportunities to improve this wherever possible.

You should have experience of managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes, experience in working with multi-skilled teams to support other areas of the business based on guest demand.

You should be able to demonstrate experience of leading teams to success, including proficiency in managing performance, coaching teams, delivering team training, setting standards, and role modelling this behaviour, problem-solving & feedback, and able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
