As a Mental Health Youth Worker, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable frontline experience supporting young people from diverse backgrounds, many suffering developmental trauma relating to neglect or mistreatment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including on-site psychologists, safeguarding officers, occupational therapists, and other professionals, to provide a comprehensive approach to supporting children's mental health needs.
Key responsibilities include delivering individualized support and guidance to children, developing and implementing strategies to promote healthy coping mechanisms and self-regulation techniques, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for children's mental health needs.
