Newbury, West Berkshire, United Kingdom Academics Ltd Full time

Academics Ltd is a specialist school in Newbury seeking a recent Psychology or Criminology graduate to join their support team as a Mental Health Support Worker.

This role is ideal for graduates hoping to become trained psychologists in the future, with a genuine interest in supporting children with psychological needs. The students at this school come from diverse backgrounds, facing challenges related to trauma, neglect, attachment issues, and anxiety.

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for collaborating with the class teacher and other experienced staff members to educate pupils. You will help facilitate various therapeutic techniques, employ restorative practices aimed at promoting mental well-being, and work alongside Psychologists and Therapists based at the school.
