Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Housekeeper to join our team at the Mövenpick Hotel Cairo-Media City. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Housekeeping Department Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the housekeeping team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and exceptional guest experiences.
  2. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
  3. Staff Management: Manage and develop the housekeeping team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  4. Cleaning Procedures: Develop and implement effective cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure efficient and effective housekeeping operations.
  5. Inventory Management: Control and manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  6. Guest Satisfaction: Ensure prompt and professional handling of guest complaints and requests.
  7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  8. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the housekeeping department budget.
Requirements
  1. Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  2. Strong Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  3. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  5. Pressure Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  6. Cleaning Knowledge: Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, with the ability to develop and implement effective cleaning procedures.
