Job Brief:
Mandeville is recruiting for a seasoned Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong partnerships with existing customers, and identifying new business opportunities in key markets.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development, with experience in managing and motivating a sales team. They will also possess strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

The role involves developing and implementing effective business strategies to drive revenue growth, leading and supporting a small sales team, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers in key markets such as Sport, Construction, Events & Exhibitions, Retail, and Offices.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
* Lead and support a small sales team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
* Identify and build relationships with new clients and maintain strong partnerships with existing customers in our key markets: Sport, Construction, Events & Exhibitions, Retail, and Offices.
* Spend 50% of your time in the office strategising and collaborating with the team and 50% customer-facing to develop and strengthen client relationships.
* Present and promote print solutions to prospective clients.
* Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure the satisfaction of all parties involved.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align on client expectations and deliverables.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.

Requirements:
* Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role.
* Experience in managing and motivating a sales team.
* Print industry experience is preferable but not essential.
* Strong understanding of sales strategies and business development practices.
* Demonstrated success in selling to key markets such as Sport, Construction, Events & Exhibitions, Retail, and Offices.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
