Paediatric Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Consultant to join our team at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will have a strong interest in Paediatric Epilepsy and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.

The role will involve promoting close working links with local primary care providers and the Southwest London Network, as well as managing a flexible approach to service provision.

The ideal candidate will have a wide range of paediatric experience, including acute paediatrics and neonatology, and will be able to demonstrate leadership skills within a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong commitment to continuing professional development and clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care to children and young people
  • Develop and implement effective clinical governance strategies
  • Work closely with local primary care providers and the Southwest London Network
  • Manage a flexible approach to service provision

Person Specification:

  • Full GMC Registration (or eligibility to obtain)
  • MRCPCH or equivalent
  • CCT in Paediatrics and on GMC's Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT from the date of the interview or have confirmed eligibility for Specialist Registration
  • Newborn Life Support (NLS) certification
  • Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) certification
  • Qualification in Medical Education
