Radiologist with Subspecialty Interest in Urological and Gastrointestinal Imaging

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled General Radiologist with a subspecialty interest in Urological and Gastrointestinal imaging to join our team at Kingston Hospital. The successful candidate will participate in regular Urology Cancer MDT as part of an MDT team of radiologists and will be encouraged to develop new opportunities in Genitourinary and Gastrointestinal imaging with clinical and radiology colleagues locally and across South West London Integrated Care System.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will be part of the diagnostic radiology on-call rota, with a weekday on call on site from 5-8pm. They will also participate in regular REALMS meeting and participate in a panel of three radiology consultants (on a 3-month rolling rota) who will review all incidents, assign degree of risk and undertake appropriate investigations to fruition. SPA up to 2 PAs is contingent on this participation and participation in regular audit in the department.
Person Specification
- Full GMC Registration with License to Practice
- CCT and on GMC's Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT from the date of the interview or have confirmed eligibility for Specialist Registration
Desirable Criteria
- Appropriate higher degree (e.g. MD, PhD or equivalent)
- Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) or Surgeons (MRCS)
