We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our esteemed team at the Transformation Unit, where we strive to provide unparalleled mental health services to individuals in need.
About the Role
- This is an exciting opportunity for a talented therapist to work within our multidisciplinary team, providing evidence-based interventions to address a range of mental health issues.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in person-centred counselling, with experience working in short-term, time-limited settings.
- You will be responsible for delivering initial assessment sessions, managing your own caseload, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional counselling services to clients, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and work-related stress.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients.
- Participate in Mental Wellbeing Clinics, signposting service users to relevant support services, and contribute to the development of our comprehensive support package.
Requirements
- A British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) approved Diploma in Person Centred Counselling or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in the NHS or a similar healthcare setting, with a focus on short-term, time-limited interventions.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
