Job Description
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a skilled and dedicated individual to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to assess and deliver CBT treatment to clients with common mental health disorders, contribute towards service development and improvement, and provide clinical supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Assessment: Assess clients with common mental health disorders to determine the most appropriate course of treatment.
- Treatment Delivery: Deliver CBT treatment to clients, ensuring they receive high-quality care and support.
- Service Improvement: Contribute towards service development and improvement, identifying areas for growth and suggesting solutions.
Requirements
- Qualifications: A Post Graduate Diploma in High Intensity IAPT Course or equivalent qualification, along with a recorded/registered doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology or a recorded/registered qualification in one of the following - nursing, social work, occupational therapy, or a psychological therapy.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services, relevant experience in Primary Care settings treating anxiety and depression-related problems, and ability to meet agreed/specified activity and service targets.
