Job Title: Mental Health Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Bolton IAPT services. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will work closely with clients to assess and deliver Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) treatment for common mental health disorders. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. Location: Bolton IAPT services. Type: Full-time or part-time, fixed-term or permanent roles available.

In this role, you will contribute towards service development and improvement, provide clinical supervision, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. You will also have the opportunity to teach and liaise with other professional groups.

Requirements: A postgraduate diploma in CBT from a recognised training provider, significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner, and training in an additional therapeutic modality. You must be able to manage your own caseload and time effectively and have excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care, committed to ongoing learning and professional development, and able to work within a multicultural setting. We offer a competitive salary, 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays rising to 29 after five years and 33 days after ten years, and a range of benefits including cycle-to-work and salary sacrifice car schemes.
