Mental Health Support Worker

Our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our Community Mental Health Team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions.
The successful candidate will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive support and care to service users in their own homes. With a strong focus on recovery and wellbeing, this role requires empathy, understanding, and excellent communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays, an excellent pension scheme, and access to professional development opportunities.
To be considered for this role, you will need at least 2 years' experience in mental health, preferably in a community setting. An NVQ or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
