Mental Health Support Professional

At Northern Healthcare, we offer a competitive hourly rate of £11.60 for our full-time 38.5 hour per week positions.
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Mary Seacole House in Westhoughton, Bolton. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work positively and collaboratively with other colleagues to create a happy and trusting culture that our residents can call home.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that our service users are at the heart of everything we do. You will support and guide service users with day-to-day activities, enabling them to live a full and as independent life as possible. This may include help to manage budgeting, domestic tasks, or meal preparation.
You will also be responsible for supporting and guiding service users with grocery shopping and attending routine appointments, as well as supporting them whilst taking prescribed medication. Additionally, you will encourage service users to be as active as they would like to be as part of their local community, while promoting them to try out new things.
We require applicants to have some experience as a support worker or have gained their level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care. A minimum of two references that must cover the last 3 years is also required. If you have worked with vulnerable adults in the past, we will be required to request references for each of these employers too.
