Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead and support supplier quality audits, including PPAP and RCCA processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base, focusing on Right First Time (RFT) and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001, AS9100, and customer standards.
  • Lead and support supplier quality audits, including PPAP and RCCA processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base, focusing on RFT and COPQ objectives.
  • Educate and coach supply chain teams on quality processes and tools.
  • Manage customer returns and proactively resolve root causes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to improve quality culture and performance.
  • Facilitate AS13000 RCCA deployment and lead permit/waiver status reporting.
  • Act as a focal point for supply chain quality issues and supplier development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in the aerospace or similar industry.
  • Proven problem-solving expertise using structured methodologies (8D, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work under pressure.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
