Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Resilience and Community Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including local authorities, emergency services, and volunteer groups.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in emergency response, with a strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable communities. They will be able to provide support and guidance to partners, helping them to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.

About the Role

This is a varied role, with a focus on managing work programmes, supporting local resilience forums, and helping to embed lessons learned from previous emergencies. The successful candidate will also be required to facilitate presentations to stakeholders, assist with training, and provide strategic advice to command and control cells.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £51,200 - £53,345 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including 25.5 days annual leave rising to 30.5 days after 5 years continuous service, and an option to purchase 10 days of additional leave per year.
