Job Opportunity: Senior Residential Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Care Manager to join our team at Holistic Support Services.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position requiring a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential and extensive experience in residential care management.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, delegate tasks effectively, train new staff members, and ensure daily reports and health and safety checks are completed. They will also assist with supervisions, appraisals, and support children and young people's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Taking point on shift and setting a positive tone for the team.
  2. Effectively delegating duties and promoting a fair work environment.
  3. Providing training and development opportunities for staff.
  4. Participating in an on-call rota and responding to out-of-hours calls as needed.
  5. Ensuring all necessary documentation, including care plans and daily reports, is up-to-date and accurate.
  6. Collaborating with the Deputy Manager to achieve shared goals and objectives.
