About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Concierge/Day Porter to join our team at Southampton Harbour Hotel. As a key member of our reception team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth arrival and departure of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the arrival and departure of guests, including luggage handling and transportation.
  • Work closely with the reception team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about our hotel facilities, services, and local area to provide informed recommendations to guests.
  • Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the hotel, promoting a culture of exceptional hospitality.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a hotel environment, although training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical fitness, as the role involves carrying luggage.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
