Customer Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the store's day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:- Provide top-notch customer service by greeting and assisting customers with product selection.
- Offer expert product knowledge and advice to customers, ensuring they find the perfect products to meet their needs.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain the store's visual presentation and stock levels, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for customers.
- Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks, ensuring the store is always well-stocked and ready for customers.
- Ensure a clean and tidy store environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Meet or exceed sales targets set by the store management, driving sales growth and contributing to the store's success.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by the store.
- Basic IT skills for till and stock management systems, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.
