Key Responsibilities:



  • Support the manager in providing an efficient and effective service to children in need of care and support
  • Hold a small number of complex cases
  • Provide advice and guidance to Social Workers and Support Workers
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the service

Requirements:


To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant qualification in Social Work, be registered with Social Care Wales, and have three years post-qualifying experience working with children and young people.

As a Deputy Team Manager, you will enjoy a competitive salary, generous terms and conditions, including 25 days annual leave (rising to 32 days after 5 years continuous service) plus 2 extra days at Christmas, pension scheme, and sick pay scheme. You will work as a mobile hybrid worker, enjoying flexibility to work from home and various Council workplaces.


Salary: £38,690 - £43,414 per annum
