Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work Leader to join our Llangatwg Community Children’s Team. As a Deputy Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing professional leadership and supporting the manager in delivering an efficient and effective service to children in need of care and support.


About the Role:


The successful candidate will be responsible for holding a small number of complex cases, providing advice and guidance to Social Workers and Support Workers, and contributing to the development and delivery of the service. You will work closely with the management team to maintain a high-quality provision on behalf of Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Support the manager in providing an efficient and effective service to children in need of care and support
  • Hold a small number of complex cases
  • Provide advice and guidance to Social Workers and Support Workers
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the service

Requirements:


To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant qualification in Social Work, be registered with Social Care Wales, and have three years post-qualifying experience working with children and young people.

Salary: £38,690 - £43,414 per annum
