About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Live-in Care Assistant. As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily tasks, medication, and mobility.
  • Supporting clients with their daily routines, including meal preparation, housekeeping, and social activities.
  • Building positive relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
  • Empowering clients to make their own decisions and choices, promoting their autonomy and dignity.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of care experience, with a strong understanding of care principles and practices.
  • Ability to work an average of 8-week blocks on duty, with flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.
  • Attendance at induction and refresher training at our dedicated training centers.
  • Empathy, compassion, and excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
