We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Live-in Care Assistant. As a Live-in Care Assistant, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks such as medication management, bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene.
- Support clients with daily tasks, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and grocery shopping.
- Encourage clients to participate in social activities, accompany them to appointments, and provide emotional support.
- Build positive relationships with clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
Requirements:
- At least two years of care experience.
- Ability to work an average of 8-week blocks on duty.
- Attendance at induction and refresher training at our dedicated training centers.
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
