**About the Role:**

Venn Group is recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer to work with women at a supported housing facility offering 60 bed spaces and 33 short-term accommodations.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records.

This temporary position offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per annum and the opportunity to make a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assisting clients with welfare benefit claims and housing benefit collection, while also dealing promptly with rent arrears.
  2. Performing housing management tasks, such as reception duties, collecting rent, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • An enhanced DBS form within 12 months or willingness to obtain a new one.
  • Experience working with vulnerable people in supported accommodation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
