JustOT is a well-respected client based in South London seeking an experienced registered Occupational Therapist to work collaboratively with our team.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join us to:

  1. Demonstrate effective supervision and appraisal skills, promoting accountability and professional development.
  2. Critically apply research, theory, and knowledge to Occupational Therapy practice, recognising the scope for professional judgement.
  3. Understand legal and policy frameworks guiding Occupational Therapy, facilitating interventions that sustain maximum potential independence.
  4. Develop working knowledge of attachment, separation, loss, change, and resilience concepts across the life course, making evidence-informed judgements.
  5. Assess forms of harm and their impact on individuals, drawing on strength, resilience, vulnerability, risk, and resistance concepts.
  6. Recognise factors creating or exacerbating risk and contribute to its assessment and management.
  7. Identify appropriate responses to safeguard vulnerable people, promoting their wellbeing.
  8. Utilize Occupational Therapy methods, models, and tools to promote positive change, independence, and prevent harm, valuing service user expertise.
  9. Understand authority of the Occupational Therapy role and use it appropriately as an accountable professional.
  10. Share information respectfully and recognize lines of accountability, boundaries of professional autonomy and discretion.

This community-based role offers a salary of £35.00 per hour with flexible working arrangements.

Essential Requirements: HCPC registration, Social Services experience, car driver's license.
