About the Role

Central Bedfordshire Council is a forward-thinking organisation that strives for excellence in customer service. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing positive assistance and resolving queries in a clear and empathetic manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming telephone enquiries within Service Level Agreements
  • Resolve a range of queries, take customer payments, or direct callers to relevant departments
  • Record data onto our computer system as you work
Requirements

We require a true multi-tasker with excellent English language skills and considerable customer service experience. You must have outstanding communication skills, GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English, PC skills, and an aptitude for learning bespoke data systems. Experience of applying legislation or company policy would be beneficial.
