Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Payments Project Lead to drive large-scale strategic projects in our Payments Transformation team. As a key member of our team, you will partner with Operations, Product, and Technology teams to define platform architecture, conduct gap analysis, and ensure thorough testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Define Business Requirements
  • Articulate functional and non-functional requirements for new product capabilities, including process flows, customer interactions, and Operations intervention.
  • Perform impact analysis for business initiatives, determine key business groups, and required process changes.
  • Partner with Product and Technology partners to define platform architecture.
  • Conduct gaps analysis, work with User Acceptance Testing team, and ensure thorough testing of all capabilities.
  • Track initiative progress, identify red flags, and collaborate with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Drive Operations readiness for new product roll-out, including documentation, training, and escalation matrix.
  • Anticipate internal and external factors impacting global payment strategy and implement risk mitigation plans.
  • Perform defect analysis, prioritization, and explore alternative solutions.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Payments Knowledge
  • Strong commercial Payments knowledge covering high-value SWIFT and clearing flows.
  • Previous experience in Banking/Financial services.
  • Well-versed in Agile methodology and experience driving projects under Agile.
  • Strong Project management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to define future-state business model and drive execution.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage, and deliver competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious with excellent time management/prioritization skills.
  • Experience in designing, delivering, and presenting executive-level content.
  • Adept at working in matrix organization and dynamic high-performance teams.
  • Able to leverage the organization to deliver results quickly.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 based on industry standards and location. This figure may vary based on individual qualifications and company requirements.
