Datasym is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Finance & Office Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our business, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial and office functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Administration: Manage the sales and purchase ledger, process invoices, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Office Administration: Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, handling post and deliveries, and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Licence Management: Generate, renew, and supply licenses as required, with training provided.
  • Financial Reporting: Create reports as requested and resolve any financial issues with clients or suppliers.
  • Banking and Payments: Manage banking, cheques, and payments, including direct debits.
Requirements:
  • Finance and Credit Control Experience: Proven experience in finance and credit control, with a strong understanding of financial procedures.
  • Sage Line 50 Experience: Familiarity with Sage Line 50 accounting software.
  • Office Administration Experience: Experience in office administration, including answering phone calls and handling post and deliveries.
  • Methodical and Organized Work Ethic: A high level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Basic IT Skills: Basic understanding of IT systems and software, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Accuracy and Deadlines: High level of accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
