Residential Lettings Coordinator Role

Dove & Hawk is seeking a highly organized and administrative professional to join their residential lettings team. As a Residential Lettings Coordinator, you will be responsible for the administration and management of residential tenancies, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the lettings team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Market vacant properties efficiently, ensuring that they are visible to potential tenants.
  • Draft Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreements accurately, ensuring that all necessary information is included.
  • Issue rent increases for Regulated Tenancies and Assured portfolio by way of Section 13.
  • Collate tenant references for new lettings, ensuring that all necessary information is obtained.
  • Protect residential deposits and ensure the return of tenancy deposits in a timely manner.
  • Issue rent credits/debits where required, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Liaise with external agents on new lettings, ensuring that all necessary information is shared.
  • Manage diaries for property viewings, check-in, and check-outs, ensuring that all appointments are scheduled efficiently.
  • Oversee compliance of EPCs for the residential portfolio, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
  • Commission repair work by liaising with tenants and contractors, ensuring that all necessary repairs are completed efficiently.
  • Instruct gas safety compliance, ensuring that all necessary safety checks are completed.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 months experience working in a business/administrative capacity in the property industry.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Horizon experience is a bonus.
  • Demonstrates a high level of organizational skills.
  • A genuine team player, friendly and personable.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solution-focused, self-starter, and self-motivated.
  • Confident dealing with external contractors.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience)

Working Hours: Office-based, Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)
