As a Digital Health Midwife Lead at Barts Health NHS Trust, you will play a vital role in the transformation of our maternity service. We are the busiest maternity service in the Barts Health NHS Trust group of hospitals, and we are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our service at Newham University Hospital.

Our maternity service is on a digital transformation journey, and we are seeking a skilled midwife to support the digital agenda within the Better Births, Ockenden, the Long Term Plan, and the 3-year delivery Plan. This role will involve working closely with our existing post holders at The Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital to deliver data quality and data validation.

You will be responsible for supporting the on-going embedding of the midwifery millennium CRS system within the Trust and analyzing current trends and benchmarking process flows and cultural norms for Nursing and Midwifery care across the sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic midwife who is keen to support and nurture our staff to develop confidence and competence with the digital transformation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the digital transformation of our maternity service
  • Support the delivery of data quality and data validation
  • Analyze current trends and benchmarking process flows and cultural norms for Nursing and Midwifery care

Person Specification

  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration
  • Educated to degree level
  • IT qualification or experience
