Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Tutor to support pupils on a 1:1 basis in Derbyshire and the surrounding areas. Many of our current placements involve working with pupils awaiting school placements, requiring tuition in the home environment or local community.

The successful applicant will have experience working with primary or secondary-aged children, preferably in a tuition capacity. A calm, kind, and patient approach is essential for managing challenging behaviour and building positive relationships with pupils while maintaining professional boundaries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children in a tuition capacity (desirable)
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the pupil's needs and ability
  • Safeguarding training
