Partnerships and Events Officer

We are seeking a skilled Partnerships and Events Officer to support income generation for Our Inclusive Community Project (OICP), a new community for disabled people in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing partnerships with corporate organisations and community groups, leading special events, and managing our fundraising database.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact and be part of a dynamic team at Capability Scotland. As a Partnerships and Events Officer, you will be involved in fundraising, event planning, and partnership management, working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of community and corporate partnerships
- Developing a calendar of events with the support of the Head of Fundraising and Communications
- Managing our fundraising database (Raisers Edge) and leveraging information from the database to enhance income generation opportunities
- Monitoring and evaluating the success of partnerships and events, providing accurate reporting to internal stakeholders where required
- Securing high-value gifts from corporate partners
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in securing funding from community and corporate partnerships
- Experience in planning and managing events
- Well-developed presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- A target-driven nature, with experience working to financial KPIs
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to use or learn to use CRM databases Raisers Edge experience is beneficial but not essential
