Job Title: Deputy Head of Operations

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as Deputy Head of Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the success of our Faculty.

About the Role

The Deputy Head of Operations will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Faculty's technical and administrative functions. You will work closely with the Head of Operations to ensure the smooth operation of the Faculty's support services, including facilities management, IT, and human resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management to the Faculty's support staff
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with academic staff to ensure the Faculty's academic mission is supported
  • Manage the Faculty's estate and physical resources, including health and safety
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience of administrative leadership and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and innovatively
  • Strong understanding of the Higher Education environment
