We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), especially those facing behavioural, social, and emotional challenges in our secondary school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide targeted support to students with SEN, including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, to enhance their learning outcomes.
  • Implement tailored strategies to address individual Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) objectives, promoting academic and emotional resilience.
  • Facilitate differentiated learning to support diverse abilities, ensuring students access the curriculum in a way that meets their needs.
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, class teachers, and other support staff to achieve individualised learning outcomes.
  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions aimed at improving both academic and emotional resilience.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience supporting students with SEMH, ASD, or other behavioural needs is essential.
Essential Criteria:
  • Previous experience in a secondary school SEN setting is mandatory.
  • A strong understanding of EHCPs, IEPs, and other SEN support documentation is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure is necessary.
  • Overseas Police Clearance may be required depending on individual circumstances.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £85,000 - £95,000 per annum, based on full-time working hours and location.
