**Service Details:**

Spring Wood Lodge is a rehabilitation hospital providing treatment for women with mental disorders, including personality disorders. Our hospital has 21 beds across two wards and specializes in providing rehabilitation using positive behavioral support principles and empowering service users in their recovery.

About the Role:

This permanent Consultant Psychiatrist position will see you join the established multidisciplinary team at Spring Wood Lodge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for taking clinical responsibility for patients, fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician, contributing to management meetings, and developing a therapeutic milieu.

Requirements:

  • Be medically qualified, MRC Psych or equivalent.
  • Have essential understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health.
  • Have substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, contemporary issues in mental health, knowledge of and experience in purchaser/provider contractual issues.
  • Have previous Consultant experience in a management role.
