Audio Visual Warehouse Technician Role:
- To work in close collaboration with the Warehouse Senior Team to deliver seamless warehouse operations, ensuring timely and efficient dispatch of equipment.
- To assist the Warehouse Senior Team in developing warehouse facilities, including storage areas, equipment stocks, and related services, to achieve effective and organized warehouse operations, while maintaining compliance with company health and safety obligations.
- To prepare sound, lighting, AV, projection, and staging equipment to meet the required technical service level for daily operational schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Warehouse Senior Team with routine warehouse activities as directed.
- To proactively resolve technical issues during equipment preparation, referring to the Prep Supervisor or Project Manager as necessary.
- To have knowledge of the operational schedule to organize and, if required, take over from the Warehouse Senior Team in loading and unloading vehicles.
- To assist the team with routine PAT testing and Rigging inspection requirements, ensuring colleagues maintain the highest standards of testing.
- To perform any other duties as required by the Warehouse Senior Team.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable working knowledge of audio mixers, lighting control desks, and AV equipment, including Allen & Heath, d&b, Avolites, Chauvet, ROBE, and Panasonic projectors.
- An understanding or awareness of relevant health and safety requirements is desirable.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience working with medium-sized d&b PA systems, video distribution systems, and lighting systems.
- An understanding of firmware updates on equipment installation.
- Knowledge and understanding of at least two areas of sound, lighting, and data projection.
- Confident working in a team environment to deliver high-quality warehouse requirements.
- A demonstrable understanding of the importance of high-quality customer service, both internal and external, placing the customer at the heart of what we do at Eclipse.
