Residential Children's Home Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Team Leader to join our team at Bay View Childcare. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to children and young adults within our residential homes.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading a small team of staff, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, and ensuring that all residents receive high-quality care and support. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
Key Responsibilities- To lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver high-quality care and support.
- To oversee the day-to-day operations of the home, including managing budgets, supervising staff, and coordinating with other departments as required.
- To develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of each resident, working closely with social workers and other professionals to ensure that their needs are met.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, medication records, and other relevant documentation.
- To work collaboratively with other members of the management team to achieve the goals and objectives of the organisation.
- Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working in a residential childcare setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly developed problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Competitive salary of £26,201.60 per annum, plus up to £6720 in sleep-in payments.
