About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sovereign Housing Association as a Community Investment and Partnership Lead, playing a key role in delivering our Localities strategy and creating social impact in our communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a wide-ranging programme of interventions in localities, working closely with stakeholders to achieve our Thriving Communities vision.
  • Manage contracts and projects effectively, ensuring performance management that demonstrates our social impact and adheres to procurement and financial regulations.
  • Work with the Partnerships and Funding team to write bids that bring in external funding to deliver social impact in our communities.
  • Collaborate with Community Investment colleagues to ensure the Thriving Communities vision is delivered in localities.
  • Embed a framework for social impact and outcomes recording, ensuring that we measure and evaluate our success effectively.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced professional with a strong track record in community investment and partnership development. You'll need excellent partnership skills, a focus on delivering social impact, and the ability to identify opportunities for fundraising and programme development.

Requirements

  • Significant experience and expertise in the community investment sector, gained from working in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, tailored to a range of audiences.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with experience of quality assurance of projects, including monitoring and evaluation systems.
  • Confidence with budget management and financial systems, as well as IT literacy and the ability to use technology for effective project delivery.
