We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Housing Officer to join our team at Watford Community Housing. As a key member of our Housing team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality housing services to our tenants.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our tenants, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Tenancy Management: Ensure tenancies are managed appropriately, taking into account the circumstances of the household.
- Debt Management: Work with tenants to reduce debt owed in rent, taking court action where necessary.
- Anti-Social Behaviour: Manage cases of anti-social behaviour within your allocated housing patch, working in partnership with other teams and agencies as required.
- Experience: Previous experience of working as a Housing Officer, with a proven track record in building strong relationships and managing tenancies.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent time management and organisational skills, good IT skills with the ability to use Housing Management software, ability to input data into systems accurately, and proven debt management experience.
- Education: Good level of general education or relevant experience, CIH recognised qualification, and a commitment to upholding the CIH professionalism standards.
