Company Overview:
We are a specialist recruiter, Spencer Clarke Group, working in partnership with private sector clients nationwide. Our client is an independent school located in Lytham St Annes, seeking a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to support students with communication needs.

Job Summary:
This is a temporary full-time contract initially until further notice, with potential for extension on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will conduct assessments, prepare reports, and adapt therapy to meet the sensory and behavioral needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' communication needs, focusing on social communication and pragmatic language skills.
  2. Prepare detailed reports for multi-disciplinary team meetings, Education, Health, and Care Plan reviews, or annual reviews.
  3. Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address the unique needs of each child.

Requirements:
  1. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  2. Experience supporting children with ASD and pragmatic language difficulties is essential.

Salary:
The salary for this role is estimated at £35-£40 per hour, reflecting the importance of this position and the level of expertise required.
