Join Our Team as a Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Specialist to join our team in a secondary school. As a Learning Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with general school tasks and helping them develop the skills and talents they need to flourish.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Specialist, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that pupils receive the support they need to succeed. You will be responsible for helping pupils with their academic work, providing emotional support, and creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with their academic work, including homework and classwork
  • Provide emotional support to pupils, including helping them to manage their emotions and behavior
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that pupils receive the support they need
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the pupils and the school. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
