Academic Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Support Specialist to work closely with a fantastic school in Pembroke, supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them access the curriculum effectively.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual or small group support both inside and outside the classroom.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement tailored learning plans for students.
- Support students in developing key skills in literacy, numeracy, and social interaction.
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude towards working with students with a variety of learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, staff, and parents.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to the individual needs of each student.
- A current DBS check (or willingness to apply).

Salary: £12.90 per hour
